Cyclone Dana Live Updates: Things to know about the impending Cyclone in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Cyclonic storm Dana is gradually moving towards costal Odisha and is supposed to make landfall on early Friday morning with full force between Dhamra and Bhitrkanika. While the entire state is on alert for the purpose, the cyclone is said to impact nearly half the population after landfall.

As Cyclone Dana is approaching towards land, it’s getting strong in the sea and is moving forward in the north-northwest direction at a speed of 12 kilometers per hour. The maximum speed during the landfall is likely to be around 120 kmph, confirmed IMD DG, Mrutyunjay Mahapatra.
