Almost 50 People Fall Sick After Attending Wedding In Odisha

Umerkote: Almost 50 people fell sick in Tohra village of Umerkote block in Nabarangpur district of Odisha after attending a wedding party.

A wedding party was held in five to six houses of the village yesterday. More than 50 villagers have fallen ill after eating in the party. The patients are suffering from diarrhea and vomiting.

All the patients have been taken to Kursi Primary Health Center, Pujariguda Group Health Center and Umarkot Group Health Center.

Among the sick are many children and women.

The reason for so many people falling sick is yet to be known.
