2024 Jeep Wrangler Facelift unveiled in India at Rs 67.65 lakh

Jeep India has unveiled the 2024 edition of its premium lifestyle SUV Wrangler. The updated Jeep Wrangler comes in two varinat Unlimited & Rubicon that are priced at Rs 67.65 lakh and Rs 71.65 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The latest edition Wrangler cost Rs 5 lkh more than the previous one. However, despite the price hike, it still costs less than its rival Land Rover Defender 110 that costs Rs 97 lakh-2.35 crore in the market. Jeep India could begin the deliveries of the premium SUV from mid-May 2024.

2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Rubicon design

The all new Wrangler now sports an all-black grilled with alloy wheels. The Wrangler Unlimited features new 18-inch wheels, while the Rubicon now has 17-inch wheels.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has received new windshield, which is now made of Gorilla glass.

Both the variants of the Wrangler are offered in five colour options of Sarge Green, Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal and Firecracker Red. The Rubicon continues to get all the badges and decals that mark it apart as the more hardcore Wrangler.

2024 Jeep Wrangler facelift interior

The 2024 itiration of the Jeep Wrangler features a similar interior as the outgoing model. The changes seen on the updated Wrangler are thin air vents which are placed below the new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, which runs on Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 OS.

The Unlimited and Rubicon also now get 12-way powered front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and six airbags, which is two more than before.
It has also received electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic roll mitigation, automatic headlamps, a tyre pressure monitor, and rear parking sensors and camera for safety features.

2024 Jeep Wrangler facelift powertrain

The wrangler continues to be powered by the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which is shared with the Grand Cherokee. The engine develops 270hp and 400Nm of peak torque, and is mated to an 8-speed torque convertor automatic.

Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system is standard. The Wrangler Rubicon also gets a Rock mode for the Selec-Trac system, locking front and rear differentials, a front sway bar that’s able to be electronically disconnected, and a 240 Amp alternator.
