Jio impact: Vodafone offers 4GB free Data for Mumbaikars
Soon after Reliance Jio announced its ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ offer in which Jio users are getting 1GB Data per day for 3 Months at Rs. 309, Vodafone has offered to give 4GB data free to its customers in Mumbai on upgradation to Vodafone Supernet 4G.
“Vodafone users in Mumbai who upgrade to a 4G SIM card (with 4G handsets) can avail the free data”, Vodafone company said in a statement on Wednesday. “Vodafone 4G SIMs are available at all Vodafone Stores, Vodafone Mini Stores or multi brand outlets located across Mumbai”.
Mumbai business head of Vodafone India, Pushpinder Singh Gujral said the telco was proud to be a preferred telecom services provider in Mumbai with over 9 million customers in the metropolis alone.
Vodafone offers can avail by both prepaid and post-paid users. Vodafone prepaid users can use the 4GB free data through a validity period of 10 days. Whereas, Vodafone post-paid users can use the 4GB free data until next billing date.
The free data shall be added to the customer’s data balance on upgrading to a 4G SIM, Vodafone’s statement added.
