Covid-19 Update: Bhubaneswar reports 4 positive cases on April 19

Bhubaneswar: As on April 19, 2022 the Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar continues to be less than 5. The capital city of Odisha has recorded as low as 4 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 4 positive cases that were reported today were local contact cases.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,550. The recovered cases are 1,55,225. The total deceased cases are 1192. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 112. The recovered cases in BMC in the last 24 hours are 9.

Odisha on Tuesday reported only 16 new Covid cases, informed to the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,87,951.

Reportedly, among the 16 positives, 10 patients are in quarantine, and six are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 111.

Khordha recorded the highest Covid cases with four positives, followed by Kendrapada, and Sundargarh with three cases in each district.
