These districts of Odisha to witness light to moderate rainfall, yellow warning issued for 3 days

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a light to moderate rainfall warning for as many as three districts of Odisha.

According to the weather department, light to moderate rain/thunderstorms with lightning likely occur over some parts of the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, and Cuttack within the next three hours.

Yellow Warning for thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore between 8.30 AM of April 20 and 8.30 AM of April 21.

Likewise, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 Kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Kandhamal, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore from 8.30 AM of April 21 and 8.30 AM of April 22. The weatherman also said that thunderstorms with lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khurda during this period of time.

Yellow Warning for thunderstorms with lightning is also very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Mayurbhanj and Balasore. This yellow warning has been issued from 8.30 AM of April 22 and 8.30 AM of April 23.
