Covid-19 Update: Bhubaneswar reports 3 positive cases on April 2

Bhubaneswar: As on April 2, 2022 the Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar continues to remain low. The capital city of Odisha has recorded 3 positive cases today.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 3 positive cases that were reported today were local contact cases.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,497. The recovered cases are 1,56,500. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 163. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours is 6.

Odisha reported 40 Covid cases including 2 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Saturday. The positive tally stands at 12,87,701.

Reportedly, among the 40 positives, 24 patients are in quarantine, and 16 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 365.

It is to be noted that Angul recorded the highest Covid cases today with 22 positives.
