Apple iOS 17.2 update

Apple released the iOS 17.2 update for iPhones after weeks of testing. With the update, the user will get support for the much-awaited Journal app, recording Spatial Videos, new weather widgets, AirDrop improvements, and upgrades to the Messages app. Moreover, the update has brought the ability for iPhone 15 Pro’s Action Button to translate phrases.

The new Journal app, which lets you record the small moments and big events in your life with your phone’s data, was announced at the WWDC in June. Users can lock the Journal using Face ID or Touch ID.

The new update has also brought Qi2 wireless charging support for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series.

As per Apple, iOS 17.2 will be available to all iPhones that support the iOS 17 update. The list includes 2018’s iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone SE 2, iPhone SE 3, and others.

The eligible iPhone models can download the update by heading to Settings app>>General>>Software update. If the update is not available then you can check later for it.

Apart from the iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2, Apple has also released the macOS 14.2 Sonoma, and watchOS 10.2 updates.
