Balasore: A man died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Golihamadhav village under Khaira police limits in Balasore district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Bharat Das, a resident of the same locality.
As per the report, Bharat had been to a shop located near his village last night and consumed liquor by purchasing from there. He developed symptoms like nausea, vomiting and stomach pain by today morning. The victim died before being rushed to the hospital.
Police arrived at the spot and rushed the deceased for autopsy.
While an investigation into the sudden death Bharat is underway, police suspect that he had consumed spurious liquor.
