Bhubaneswar reports 18 Coronavirus positive cases on June 16

Bhubaneswar: 18 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on June 16, 2022 the cases reported in the city were local contact cases. Positive cases were reported today from CS Pur, Laxmi Sagar, Patrapada, Unit-9, Dumduma, Nayapalli, Saheed Nagar, VSS Nagar, Khandagiri, Patia and Shyampur area of the city.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 cases have increased to 1,56,793. The recovered cases are 1,55,418. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 161. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 6.

Odisha on Thursday saw a spike in daily Covid cases as 41 new positive cases were reported from different districts of the State in the last 24 hours.

According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 41 new Covid positive cases were reported in eight districts and the State Pool. This is the double of yesterday’s daily report. A total of 22 persons were infected with the virus on Wednesday.
