Kia EV6 facelift teased with new headlights ahead of global debut

Kia has released teaser of the all new updated version of the Kia EV6, which is expected to make its global debut in the coming weeks. The Kia EV6 is expected to be updated with new features and a tweaked design.

Kia EV6 facelift: what all will be new?

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 based EV6 is expected to arrive with mild exterior design tweaks. It might look similar to the newer Kia EVs sold globally. The features expected are new set of headlights with thinner LED graphics, which will give it a futuristic look and a more pronounced “tiger nose” on the grille. It might also feature a refreshed front bumper to give it a stronger 3D effect. At the rear, the Kia EV6 will be geeting a updated rear bumper, along with newly designed alloy wheels. Apart from this, there is not much changes in the tail end. However, the tail-lamp graphics seems to be new.

The interior of the upcoming EV6 is also expected to be updated. Inside the cabin, it might be equipped with an updated infotainment system, a new-look steering wheel. Kia might introduce new shades for the interior upholstery.

It will feature a tweaked ADAS suite with new updates, some more safety features and advanced tech add-ons.

Kia EV6 facelift: new battery with more range expected

The updated EV6 will be powered by the same 84kWh battery pack that was introduced with the updated Ioniq 5. The motor comes with a 77.4kWh unit. The engine will help the EV to achieve improve range. Like the flagship Kia EV6 GT, the EV6 is said to be available in single- and dual-motor powertrain options.
