iPhone 16 likely to feature a vertical camera layout, similar to iPhone 12, Here’s what we know

While iPhone 16 series is set to officially launch in September ending this year, reports suggest that the series is likely to feature a vertical camera layout, just like iPhone 12.

As per the latest leak, the upcoming series of the Apple phone will not have camera layout like iPhone 15, 14, and 13, but it may have a vertical camera layout, similar with the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 12.

It is worth mentioning here that the tech giant generally launches four models in the iPhone series, which are the base variant, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max. However, rumors suggest that the iPhone 16 Series is going to have as many as 5 models this year.

According to leaked schematics, the upcoming iPhone 16 series might introduce five distinct models. This might be possible if Apple integrates the iPhone SE line into the iPhone 16 lineup. The renders listed show five iPhones with different camera configurations. The renders for the iPhone 16 SE and iPhone 16 Plus SE were seen sporting a single pill-shaped rear camera layout like the iPhone X.

The same vertical camera arrangements with pill-shaped camera bumps designs were shown in the previous leaks, which means Apple might not adapt the square-shaped camera bump of the current iPhone 15 series for the Next-gen iPhones.

Both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will likely feature a 6.3-inch screen equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the Pro Max model is rumored to have a bigger 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The iPhone 16 SE is tipped to feature a 6.1-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and the iPhone 16 Plus SE might be equipped with a larger 6.7-inch screen with a refresh rate of up to 60Hz.
