Covid 19 Odisha Update: 204 recovered cases registered on July 8

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on July 8 has registered another 204 Covid-19 recovered patients who have recovered in the state and are being discharged today, informed the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department. With this development the total Covid-19 recovered patients in Odisha have reached to 12,80,954.

The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities across the state, informed the Health department through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were made in Khordha (99 cases). The details of the recovered cases are mentioned below.

99 from Khordha

35 from Cuttack

12 from Sundargarh

10 from Sambalpur

8 from Baleswar

5 from Puri

3 from Bargarh

2 from Nayagarh

1 from Jagatsinghpur

1 from Jharsuguda

1 from Kalahandi

1 from Malkangiri

1 from Rayagada

25 from State Pool

Odisha on Friday continues to witness an increase in daily Covid cases across different districts of the State and recorded above 400 positives for the third consecutive day.

According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 470 new positives were reported in 19 districts and the State Pool. A total of 428 persons were infected with the virus on Thursday.

There are 49 children in the 0-18 age group. Out of the total 470 cases, 276 are quarantine cases while the rest 194 are local contacts. Currently, there are 2487 active cases in the State.
