31st Odisha State Film awards and 8th State Tele awards announced: Check details here

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Friday announced the 31st Odisha State Film awards and the 8th State Tele awards.  Director cum producer Ghanashyam Mohapatra will be felicitated with the Jaydev award while the Mohan Sunder Dev Goswami Award or Best film award goes to Nilamadhav Panda for ‘Kalira Atita’. Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi announced the awards.

As per reports, Saroj Parida to get the best actor for film ‘Khushi’ while Kavya Kiran to get best actress award for the same film. Best story award goes to late Kapileshwara Prasad Mohapatra for the film ‘Salabudhar Badla’.

The best music director award, also called the Balakrushna Award goes to Baidyanath Das for the film ‘Nayakara Naa Devdas’. Swayam Padhi adjudged the best playback singer male for the song ‘Bhija bhija prema chhita’ in film ‘Dekhahela Premahela’. Similarly, Diptirekha Padhi will get the best playback singer female award for the song E Keun Rutu E keun Rasta from film ‘From Mitu eve’. And the best film editing award goes to Rajesh Dash for film ‘Khushi’.
