Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s marriage postponed, Here’s why

Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating for a while now and fans have been eagerly waiting to see them together on-screen. In the light of it the speculations of their wedding to take place in December has been making rounds. It was also reported that the couple is planning to have a destination wedding in Italy. However, according to a recent report by Pinkvilla, the duo is known to have postponed their wedding to January 2022. They will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in the presence of family and close friends.

It is also reported that the event will take place in either Mumbai or Rajasthan.

The report states that the reason for the shifting of dates and venue is due to their busy schedule. Currently Ranbir is completing shoot for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Luv Ranjan’s romcom. A source confirms that he will fly to Delhi to shoot for Luv Ranjan’s movie with Shraddha Kapoor in December. It will be a 15-day schedule.

Alia is also packed for Brahmastra till the end of November.

Being a thorough professional, the Barfi actor wants to complete all his pending shooting assignments before he gets married.

The reports further claims that after completing almost 75 percent of the Delhi shoot, Ranbir will be taking a leave, from the last week of December, to leave himself completely free for his wedding.
