Sometimes during a journey it gets hard to find a decent shop and buy urgent requirements or travel friendly delicacies without having to wait in a long line. Something similar once happened during a man’s journey in Abdul Qadeer’s cab.
One morning, the 46-year-old cab driver picked a ride from New Delhi Railway Station. The passenger was headed to an interview and he asked Abdul to look for a stop where he pick a few things and get ready for his meeting. However, neither the passenger or Abdul could find a those things or a decent and affordable place to freshen up.
Ever since then, Abdul realised that he needs to offer more than a cab ride and a bottle of water to his passengers.
After thinking a lot about it, the cab driver had an idea of stocking his cab with tissues, masks, snacks, hair serum, deodorant etc just for his passengers to use free of cost!
The cab is filled with freebies at the back of front seats and passengers don’t need to look elsewhere for their urgent requirements. The giveaways consists of juices, water, lassi, and 3 jars of candies on each side, along with one jar of cardamoms and chewing gums. On the second rack of the left seat, sanitary products like moisturiser, vaseline, deodorant, nail paint remover, powder, shoe polish etc can be seen.
On the other hand, the second rack of the right seat has sanitiser, hair serum, Pain relief ointment, a little box which holds toothpicks, earbuds, lighter, and a stapler.
Moreover, at the bottom, an umbrella and a tissue box on one side and a newspaper and masks on the other side.
That’s not it, Abdul also makes sure on each side, a packet each of munchies hangs for those who are in a mood to snack on something.
Lat but not the least, the 46-year-old driver also made sure to carry a regular first-aid box in his carrier.
