Flying in style has its perks, or so we thought until a recent revelation on a China Eastern Airlines flight left passengers in disbelief. A passenger, identified as Conrad Wu took to Facebook and shared his surprising discovery when the lunch and dinner menu featured an unexpected item, “imported dog food.”

In a world where business class travellers anticipation gourmet delights, the last thing on their minds, would be a dish fit for Fido. The menu, showcasing a variety of appetizers, soups, and bread options, took an unexpected turn when an arrow pointed directly at the eyebrow-raising item. The Chinese caption read, “What exactly is the China Eastern Airlines Business Class menu?”

Conrad Wu’s post quickly gained attention, sparking a mix of shock and humour among netizens. Reacting to the photo, one person commented, “When people sit down in business class, they eat dog food.” Another user commented, “More important, what it is in Chinese??”

Amid the uproar, one user shed light on a potential explanation, stating, “No, when you read the rest of the menu, almost 90% of the English is wrong. Such a joke as an international airline.” The possibility of a translation mistake was raised, turning the ‘imported dog food’ saga into a menu mystery.
