In a recent video that is uploaded to Instagram a gripping fight between a banded sea snake and a giant moray eel was witnessed. While the two creatures are seen engaged in a tussle in the depths of the ocean, it has been tagged as a ‘rare and gripping drama’. The video has gone viral on social media.
Instagram user ‘Nature is Metal’ shared the video and captioned the video writing, “In the mysterious depths of the ocean, a rare and gripping drama unfolds. The banded sea snake, armed with some of the most potent venom in the marine world, encounters the formidable giant moray eel, a master of the ambush with razor-sharp teeth..”.
In the video we can see that the banded sea snake encounters a giant moray eel in the depths of the ocean and soon both of them get engaged in a fierce fight. They sting each other’s face and make circles while entangled in this position.
The video has earned more than 96k likes after being posted merely four days ago. Also, the video has earned a number of interesting comments. A user asked, “So how does the snake consume an eel of that size? Does it swallow it whole while submerged or take it to the surface?”
So who survived, asked another user in the comment box.
