Cuttack: The mining officer was attacked by the sand mafias during sand vehicle checking near Cuttack Sadar police limits.
According to reports, the mining officer Sambit Sahu and his team were checking papers of the sand vehicle in Gopalpur area, when a hyva truck hits his car from behind and he escaped unhurt.
Following the attack, the mining officer lodged a complaint at the Cuttack Sadar police station.
