Odisha Health Department Issues Heat Stroke Warning, See Details

Bhubaneswar: The Health and Family Welfare Department (H&FW Dept), Government of Odisha has issued a heat stroke warning and posted certain do’s and don’ts.

The Department has listed that insufficient hydration and prolonged exposure to sun can lead to heatstroke during summer.

No sweating, dizziness, headache or vomiting might be the symptoms of heatstroke added the Health and Family Welfare Department via a tweet in their official twitter page.

The Department has further advised to drink plenty of fluids and consult a doctor immediately if any of these symptoms are experienced.

It is noteworthy that, Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar recorded highest day time maximum temperature of 44.2 degree Celsius on Wednesday informed the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.

The temperature yesterday was the highest ever recorded during the day since the year 1948.
