Odisha Govt to deploy 14 customised vehicles for protection of Similipal Tiger Reserve

Karanjia: In recent news, the Odisha Government has decided to deploy 14 vehicles for the protection of Similipal Tiger Reserve.

Staff commuting, transportation of supplies, and night patrolling often pose as a challenge in the Similipal Tiger Reserve. Campers always remain under the threat of wild animals and poachers. To combat the same, the specially designed Boleros have been provided to the campers.

The Government has provided at total of 14 olive green four WD Boleros for patrolling and protection of Similipal. The vehicles have been designed keeping in mind the hilly roads of Similipal. Further, these vehicles are designed to navigate through the roads in all seasons.
