Last day of campaigning in Odisha for third phase of elections

Odisha: The third phase of election campaigning will end today. Voting shall be held on Saturday that is May 25. Candidates of various parties, heavyweights and star campaigners will campaign with renewed energy to attract voters on the last day.

In the third phase of elections in the state of Odisha, voting will be held in six parliamentary constituencies and 42 assembly seats.

The people of Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seats and 42 assembly seats will cast their vote on May 25.

For this, there has been widespread preparations. A big fight is expected in Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat this time with Pranab Prakash Das from BJD, Dharmendra Pradhan from BJP and Nagendra Pradhan from Congress facing each other.

Similarly, Santrupta Mishra from BJD, Bhartruhari Mahatab from BJP and Suresh Mahapatra from Congress shall be testing their luck for the Cuttack Lok Sabha seat.

There will be a mega fight in Puri too. While Arup Patnaik from BJD is fighting for Puri parliamentary constituency, he shall be faced by Sambit Patra from BJP and Jayanarayan Patnaik from Congress.

Further it is noting that, there will be a tough fight for the Lok Sabha seat in Bhubaneswar. BJD’s Manmath Routray will face BJP’s Aparajita Sarangi and Congress’s Yasir Nawaz.
