IMD predicts fog, rise in night temperature in Odisha; Check details

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar-based regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted fog for several district of Odisha. Besides, it forecasted rise in night temperature.

Districts like Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Koraput, Kandhamal, Balangir, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Angul and Dhenkanal are likely to experience shallow to moderate fog in the morning hours between December 22 and December 24. The visibility level may come down to below 200 metres.

The weatherman also forecasted that the intense cold wave condition will continue for next 24 hours. However, the weather condition is most likely to change. There will slight respite from the cold as the night temperature likely to increase by 2 to 3 degree Celsius after 24 hours.
