Flag march in Bhadrak of Odisha ahead of Ram Navami

Bhadrak: A flag march has been organized by the police ahead of Ram Navami in Bhadrak district of Odisha, said reports on Monday. According to reports, Bhadrak district police have made extensive preparations to conclude the holy Shri Ram Navami festival in Bhadrak in peace and harmony.

Reports say, first a joint discussion was held with the Shri Ram Navami Committee workers and then a meeting was held with both the police and administrative officials. Further it is worth mentioning that yesterday evening, a huge flag march by the police was held starting from the Puruna Bazar police station. The flag march by the police went around the city.

Odisha police along with the BSF and CRPF jawans took part in the flag march. Reports say, 37 platoons of police force have been deployed in Bhadrak city ahead of Ram Navami. Similarly, four additional SPs, 20 DSPs shall be deployed till the end of the Ram Navami Sankirtan procession.

In addition to the above police deployment there shall be 29 inspectors, 140 SIs and ASIs and 150 constables and home guards at various places to maintain law and order, Bhadrak SP informed.

Similarly, one company of BSF and one company of CRPF jawans will be in charge of peace and harmony in the city. Similarly, with the help of drone cameras, the procession of Shri Ram Navami will be monitored and those who are making objectionable comments through social media will be monitored independently, further added Bhadrak SP Varun Gunthapalli. However the Bhadrak SP urged that, since the model code of conduct is being followed, everyone’s cooperation is required.
