According to reports, the boat was rescued after 3 hours of toil. Local people acted fast, sent another boat and rescued everyone. Two boats of the Bahakud Musadia ferry in Mahakalpada block of Kendrapada district were stuck in the middle of the river while carrying more than 100 passengers from Bahakud to Paradip this morning.
Reports say that the boats were immobilized due to engine failure. As a result, the passengers were stranded in the middle of the river. Later they were rescued by local people. Detailed reports awaited in this case.
