Another 52 Covid patients recover in Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: As many as 52 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha, informed the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department on April 6. With this development the total Covid-19 recovered patients in Odisha have reached to 12,78,419.

The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities across the state, informed the Health department through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Khordha district followed by Gajapati and Jajapur districts.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

14 from Khordha

8 from Gajapati

5 from Jajapur

4 from Sundargarh

3 from Baleswar

3 from Bolangir

3 from Kendrapara

3 from Sambalpur

2 from Anugul

1 from Bhadrak

1 from Cuttack

1 from Jagatsinghpur

1 from Mayurbhanj

3 from State Pool

Odisha on Wednesday reported 16 new Covid cases including 4 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,87,773.

Reportedly, among the 16 positives, 10 patients are in quarantine, and 6 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 232.

Khordha recorded the highest with six positives followed by Sambalpur with three and two positives in Balangir and Jajpur.
