Bhubaneswar: While a massive push for Ram Mandir began from the national capital as seers from across the country assembled at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi to discuss the issue, Shankaracharya of Puri Govardhan Peetha, Swami Nischalananda Saraswati took a dig at the BJP Government at the Centre over the matter.
While addressing in an event this evening, Swami Nischalananda Saraswati asked about the steps taken by the Union government on Ram Temple in last four-and-half years.
“Shri Ram Ji is remembered only during elections,” he added.
The Hindu spiritual leader also criticized the Congress party saying it ruled for so many years but did not do anything on Ayodhya issue.

On the other hand, more than 3,000 saints began a two-day meet in New Delhi, in which they deliberated on the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
