Sunny Leone’s image on admit card of UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam sparks controversy
Lucknow: In a shocking incident, controversy has been spark after a photo of Bollywood actress Sunny Leone appeared on an admit card of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination.
In the admit card, that is presently going viral over the internet, it is revealed that the exam was held on 17th February. The registration was done on the UP Police Constable Recruitment official website with the actress’s photograph and registration number ‘12258574’.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared the image of the admit garnering humorous reactions from netizens. The post has been accompanied with a caption that read, “Sunny Leone applied for UP police constable examination…”
Reacting to the post, a user said, “India is surely not for beginners.” Meanwhile, another person stated, “No producer is signing movie with Sunny Leone. That’s why she has filled the UP police recruitment.” Adding to the comment section, a third person said, “Wait what, Sunny Leone is giving exam for UP police. What is happening in this country?”
After the image went viral, the UPPRB said the admit card with the name Sunny Leone was fake. As per the officials’ statement, incorrect photos were uploaded by a candidate during the application for the exam.
Meanwhile, the examination centre mentioned in the admit card, Srimati Soneshree Memorial Girls College in Kannauj’s Tirwa, confirmed that no one associated with the card appeared for the exam.
According to official reports, the mobile number mentioned in the admit card is said to be of a resident of UP’s Mahoba. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
The UP Police Recruitment Examination is on limelight presently after 122 people have been arrested for indulging in “fraudulent activities” in connection with the state police constable recruitment examination held Saturday.
