Ahmedabad police issues guidelines ahead of ICC World Cup Final match
The Ahmedabad police has made tight security arrangements ahead of the ICC World Cup Final between India and Australia on Sunday.
Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad police has made tight security arrangements ahead of the ICC World Cup Final between India and Australia to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles are sey to attend the final match.
Over 6,000 police personnel will be deployed for the match, of which 3,000 will be inside the stadium. Two NDRF teams, two Chetak Commando teams, and 10 teams of the Bomb Disposal Squad will also be deployed to ensure full security.
The metro will be operational until 1 a.m. on Sunday to help people commute to the stadium. More than 1,00,000 spectators are expected to reach the venue.
The police have warned of strict action against black marketing of tickets. Any person found in possession of duplicate tickets will be prosecuted.
Here are some of the security measures that have been put in place:

India is set to take on Australia in the final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.
