25 injured as passenger bus overturns in Madhya Pradesh

Morena: At least 25 passengers were injured after the bus they were travelling in lost control and overturned on National Highway Number 44 late Monday night in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh.

According to reports, the bus carrying 30 passenger was en route from Gwalior to Rajasthan for the darshan of Mehandipur Balaji when the accident occurred. As per reports, the passenger bus lost control and overturned.

After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and rushed the injured to Morena District Hospital. The cops have also initiated a probe into the matter.

Earlier, at least 45 people were killed and one sustained serious injuries when a bus carrying easter worshippers in South Africa crashed off a cliff on Thursday.

The incident took place at Limpopo, a region in northeast South Africa.

As per reports, the passenger bus was transporting from Botswana to Moria, a town in Limpopo for an Easter conference, when the driver lost control over its wheels and collided with the barriers of the bridge and hit the ground. The bus reportedly caught fire after falling.

The South Africa Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) said that one sole survivor is an eight-year-old girl who has been airlifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
