Stock market holiday: NSE, BSE to remain shut for Diwali Balipratipada today

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on Tuesday that is November 14, 2023.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on Tuesday that is November 14, 2023. Today has been marked as a Stock market holiday on the occasion of Diwali-Balipratipada.

Apart from BSE and NSE, all equity, equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, currency derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing will remain shut as well.

Meanwhile, the metal and bullion market will also remain closed from 9am to 5pm. They will start working from 5pm to 11:30/11:55pm.

On Monday, the Indian benchmark indices ended up in the red. Yestreday, Sensex ended with 325.58 points or 0.50 percent at 64,933.87 while Nifty closed down with 82.00 points or 0.42 percent down at 19,443.50.

The top gainers were Coal India, Eicher Motors, Hindalco, M&M, and BPCL. SBI Life, Bajaj Finance, Grasim, Infosys, and Nestle India were the biggest losers on Nifty.
