MG ZS EV gets a price drop, new price starts at Rs 22.88 lakh
According to MG Motor India, the reduction in the prices of the vehicles was a part of its 100-year celebrations.
MG has slashed the prices of the MG ZS electric SUV in India by up to Rs 2.30 lakh. After the price cut, the base variant of the MG ZS EV costs Rs 22.88 lakh. On the other hand, the top variant of the MG ZS EV now costs Rs 25.90 lakh. The other cars offered by the manufacturer that received a price cut were MG Hector and MG Hector Plus.
According to MG, the reduction in the prices of the vehicles was a part of its 100-year celebrations. All the prices are ex-showroom, India. The company has also mentioned that the reduction in prices of the car is a result of input costs and a streamlined supply chain.
In the latest price cut, the most Exclusive trim or the middle trim has become the most affordable trim. It gets a price cut of Rs 2.30 lakh. On the other hand, the Exclusive Pro or the top variant gets a price cut of Rs 2.00 lakh.

Battery and range
The MG ZS EV offers a power of 177hp and maximum torque of 280Nm. The current generation of the MG ZS EV can cover 0-100kph in 8.5 seconds. The MG ZS EV is powered by a 50.3kWh battery pack and offers a range of 461km. The battery can be fully charged from 0-100 percent in up to 9 hours with a 7.4kW charger. On the other hand, a 50kW DC fast charger can charge the battery from 0-80 percent in an hour.
When it comes to features, the MG ZS EV gets a 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger for smartphones, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and connected car tech. Safety features on the car include ADAS, ABS with EBD, hill descent control, ESC and six airbags for passengers.
