Maruti Suzuki eVX all-electric concept SUV interior pics leaked ahead of official launch
The interior of the Maruti Suzuki eVX SUV, which is expected to arrive in the Indian market sometime in 2025, has been revealed.
Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the fully electric SUV eVX in India in 2025. Ahead of the official launch, the automaker is rumoured to unveil the interior of the eVX SUV at the Tokyo Motor Show 2023 later this month. However, the pictures of the interior of the SUV have already surfaced online.
Maruti Suzuki showcased the electric SUV eVX at the Indian Auto Expo earlier this year. Let’s check what we have seen in the interior of the SUV.
Maruti Suzuki eVX Interior Revealed
No buttons on dashboard
A report by Rushlane has revealed the interior pictures of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX. The leaked interior pictures shows the eVX with a most futuristic-looking interior and simple and classy-looking dashboard. Maruti Suzuki eVX features a massive single horizontal touchscreen panel, which will have the infotainment system as well as the digital instrument gauge cluster.
The electric SUV features a dual-tone interior with mostly white everywhere. The interior is equipped with unique vertically positioned air conditioning vents. It almost look like they wrap the dashboard from the top to the bottom. The dashboard seems to have almost no buttons even on the central part for the air conditioning system as well. This means that the air conditioning system will be controlled via the touchscreen.
New steering wheel
Another highlight of the interior is the new uniquely shaped steering wheel, which looks like it has come straight out of a game. We can also say that it is a classier and more sophisticated version of Formula One cars’ steering wheel. It also does not have any buttons, and most likely will be controlled through touch-based buttons.
Floating centre console
The electric SUV seems to have a floating-type design for the central console. It houses a single rotary dial, which most likely will control the massive touchscreen. Apart from this, the door panels and the side profile of the center console feature some long horizontal lines which have been highlighted with the use of ambient lighting.
Unique seats
The company has also made changes to the seats of the SUV. The front seats feature a unique design and have a bucket-type shape with a dual-tone color scheme. However, the rear seats seems to continue to have the same design like the normal car’s front seats.
Note that the pictures seems to hint they are from a concept interior for the Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV. So, the final product might not necessarily have the same design. But, this design seems pretty cool and will make the car give it’s edge against rivals.
Maruti Suzuki eVX
The Maruti Suzuki eVX is the first-ever electric SUV from the company. The brand has specified that it will come equipped with an electric powertrain that will be capable of delivering an impressive 500 kilometers of range. The concept eVX shown at this year’s Indian Auto Expo featured a 60 kWh battery with a range of 550 kilometers. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to introduce an entry-level variant with a slightly smaller 48 kWh battery, still offering a commendable 400 kilometers of range.
