Aston Martin DB12 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 4.59 crore (ex-showroom, India). The company has categorized the DB12 as a super tourer and it is powered by a 4.0 L bi-turbo V8 engine. The DB12 is the replacement for the DB11 and can be had with a number of customizations. This means that the final price if customized can go up to Rs 5 crore (which is quite expensive).
The Aston Martin DB12 produces maximum power of 680PS and a peak toque of 800Nm. The engine is paired with a 8 speed automatic transmission. The DB12 can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 325 kmph. Some of the important features in the sports car are adaptive dampers, electric rear differential, refreshed splitters as well as firmer anti-roll bars. One important thing that is missing on the sports car is AWD (all wheel drive).
The car gets 21-inch wheels along with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S tyres. When it comes to brakes, the sports car offers 400mm front brakes and 360mm at the rear. The company offers optional ceramic brakes that save 27kg of weight. The wheels of the supercar fill its wheel arches perfectly and there is ample space for the large brake rotors.
There is also an optional 1170W 15-speakers Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system. In the interior, we get three-spoke steering wheel as well as configurable digital instrument cluster. The AC vents get a proper modern approach. We get a three spoke steering wheel and get multiple controls on it. An Aston Martin logo is present on the centre of steering wheel.
