Vivo V23e 5G launched in India at Rs 25,990, Offers MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC

Vivo has launched its new smartphone- Vivo V23e 5G in India today. The smartphone will be the third smartphone in the Vivo V23 series after V23 and V23 Pro in India. The smartphone is available for purchase on from today across Vivo’s online stores as well as retail stores.

The Vivo V23e 5G costs Rs 25,990 for a sole variant 8GB+128GB storage variants. Users can purchase the device in two colour variants- Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold.

The Vivo V23e 5G is powered by a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with 8GB RAM and storage of 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone comes with an extended RAM feature which ensures that you do not face any lag during your day-to-day activities. The display is 6.44-inches capacitive multi-touch (1080×2400 pixels resolution) along with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

In terms of optics, the smartphone gets a 50 MP camera setup at the rear and a 44 MP selfie camera. The 50MP primary camera comes with f/1.8 lens, 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is a 44 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. Various scene modes that are available on the VivoV23e 5G are  Eye Autofocus, Night, Ultra-Wide Night, Super Macro, Bokeh Portrait, Portrait Filters, Bokeh Flare Portrait, High Resolution, Live Photo, AR Stickers, Slo-Mo, Time-Lapse, Dual-View Video, Double Exposure, Documents, Pano, Pro, Ultra Stabilization at the rear. The front camera has some excellent features like Eye Autofocus, AI Extreme Night, Steadiface Selfie Video, Multi-Style Portrait, Double Exposure, Video Face Beauty, Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo, High Resolution, Live Photo, AR Stickers, and Natural Portrait.

The device runs Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12 out of the box.

The connectivity features on the device include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.1, GPS, OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors present on the smartphone include ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, e-compass, gyroscope sensor etc.

The handset gets an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication purposes. The device packs a 4050mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Vivo V23e 5G claims that the smartphone can be charged from 0% to 69% within just 30 minutes. The dimensions of the device are 160.87×74.28×7.32/ 7.41 mm while the weight is 172 grams.

The contents inside the box include, the smartphone, headset, documentation, USB cable, charger, 3.5mm earphone jack adapter, eject tool, phone case and a pre-applied protective film.

The nearest competitor of the Vivo V23e 5G is the Xiaomi 11i 5G and is priced at Rs 24,999. However, it is powered with a Dimensity 920 5G SoC and a battery of 4500 mAh.
