The price of the Redmi Pad tablet has been slashed silently in India. Now, the Redmi Pad can be bought at a starting price of just Rs 11,999 on Mi.com. The tablet was launched in the country as a budget tablet in the price range of Rs 15,000 – 20,000.
Redmi Pad price cut
The Redmi Pad tablet is offered in three different storage variants of 6GB+128GB, 4GB + 128GB, 3GB+64GB for Rs 14,999, Rs 17,999, and Rs 19,999 respectively. The base 3GB+64GB variant has received a price cut of Rs 1,000, which has brought down the cost of the tablet to Rs 13,999.
Meanwhile, the 4GB + 128GB, 6GB+128GB options have become cheaper by Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. With the price cut, they now have a price tag of Rs 14,999, and Rs 16,999 respectively on Xiaomi’s official website.
Additionally, Xiaomi is also offering a Rs 1,000 instant discount on the base model on HDFC Bank credit card and EMI and ICICI net banking transactions. This means that the variant can be purchased at Rs 12,999. On the 4GB and 6GB options, there is a Rs 1,500 instant discount which will bring down the price to Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively. The bank offer is valid till December 31.
By availing up to a Rs 1,500 discount with HDFC Bank Credit Card and ICICI net banking transaction the price can be brought down to Rs 12,499. And if you trade your phone for this tablet you can get an additional discount of up to Rs 1,000 on it

The Redmi pad features a 10.61-inch wide 10-bit LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 70% NTSC color gamut, 400 nits of peak brightness, and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.The tablet is equipped with an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 6nm processor paired with up to 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM.
It features an 8 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie sensor. It packs an 8,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. The other features of the tablet include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C connectivity options.
