Infinix GT 20 Pro 5G smartphone with Mecha Loop LED Interface launched in India

Infinix has launched a new game-oriented smartphone for gaming enthusiasts in India. The device is packed with features that will offer a smooth gaming experience with minimal heat during a fierce competition. The device named Infinix GT 20 Pro is the latest addition to the Infinix GT series that already has a Infinix GT 10 Pro smartphone.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro will be available in Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue colors in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations. Regional pricing and sales details will be revealed during local launches.

Mecha Loop interface

The device features a Cyber Mecha Design with Mecha Loop LED Interface that gives it a super cool gaming look. The Mecha Loop LED Interface allows users to customize the back of the RGB LEDs supporting eight color combos and four lighting effects.

The lighting effects can also be customized for incoming calls, gaming, notifications, charging, and music playback. Moreover, the GT 20 Pro has an X-axis linear vibration motor for improved haptic feedback.

Dual chipsets

The new gaming smartphone comes with a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo dedicated Gaming Display Chip that uses Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) game frame rate interpolation to boost the frame rates from 60 FPS to up to 120 FPS for a smooth gaming experience.

The device is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset that is said to have been specifically designed for the GT 20 Pro. This makes the device the brand’s first smartphone to carry two chipsets. It has got Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.

Display

The Dual Nano SIM device is equipped with a6.78 Bezel-less FHD+ AMOLED Display with up to refresh rate of 144Hz, 1,300 nits peak brightness and Touch sampling rate of up to 360Hz.

Stable frame rate of up to 120fps

Additionally, the stInfinix GT 20 Pro uses a stable frame-rate engine to provide a stable frame-rate when gaming. It is cliamed to reach a frame rate of up to 120 FPS with “ultra-stable operation” for one hour.

According to Infinix, Free Fire, Call Of Duty (COD), and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) can reach up to 90 FPS, while Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail can reach up to 120 FPS.

Camera

The cameras available on the smartphone are 108MP primary lens (Samsung HM6 with OIS) along with two 2MP lenses, which will probably be used for depth and macro. It alos features a 32MP selfie shooter at front.

The rear cameras support video recording from 4K 60FPS/to 1080P 120FPS. Meanwhile, the front lens allows 2K 30FPS -1080P 30FPS video recording.

The camera features include dual video, video, photo, portrait, super night, time-lapse slow motion, sky shop, documents, super macro, panorama, and more.

Operating system

The device runs on XOS 14 for GT and and Infinix has promised two Android version upgrades and three years of security updates for the smartphone.

Audio

The device comes with Dual Speaker with Sound by JBL and supports DTS and Hi-Res Audio.

Battery

The battery size of the device is 5,000 mAh and it supports up to 45W charging support.

Dimension

In dimension, it measures 164.26 x 75.43 x 8.15mm and weighs 194g.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro will be available in Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue colors in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations. Regional pricing and sales details will be revealed during local launches.

Memory

Tbhe device packs up to 12GB/8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage onboard.

Sensors and connectivity features

The sensors and tools present include x-axis motor, G-sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, light sensor, infrared port, proximity sensor, and an fingerprint sensor for security purpose. Connectivity options offered on the device are 5G connectivity, USB-C, and NFC.

Other features

It is IP54 rated as per Transsion Laboratory Standards for splash / water and dust resistance.

The newly launched smartphone features a unique Esports Mode to create a zero-disruption gaming experience. This makes the device performance equal to a gaming
console, providing the ultimate gaming experience for Esports players.

The device comes with a VC liquid cooling system to keep the smartphone cool even during a fierce batter.

Infinix GT 20 Pro for PUBG Mobile Super League

Infinix GT 20 Pro has reportedly been announced as the official gaming phone for the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL), which will be held from May 15, 2024 to June 9, 2024 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and from May 22, 2024 to June 16, 2024 in Central and South Asia.
