Redmi Note 13 launched with Dimensity 6080 chip, 108MP main sensor

Xiaomi has silently launched the Redmi Note 13 smartphone under the Redmi Note 13 series. The Redmi Note 13 is the base model of the Note 13 lineup, which also includes Note 13 Pro, Note 13 Pro+. It is equipped with Dimensity 6080 chip, 108MP main sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery. The Redmi Note 13 series is expected to launch in India soon.

The latest generation Note 13 has been introduced as the successor to the Note 12 smartphone, which was launched last year.

Redmi Note 13 specifications

The Redmi Note 13 has a boxy design and features a massive 6.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and 1920Hz PWM dimming. The device has a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout that houses a 16MP front camera for selfies. The display is surrounded by thin bezels. It boots Android 13 OS.

The Redmi Note 13 sports a square camera unit on the back. The camera unit holds a 108MP main sensor and a 2MP depth lens. The smartphone packs a host of camera features to provide good and clear images.

The Redmi Note 13 runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is offered in multiple RAM and storage configurations. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging.

The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.

Price, availability

The Redmi Note 13 is available in four storage variants. The smartphone’s price in China starts at CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 13,900) for the base 6GB + 128GB option. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants cost CNY 1,299 (approx Rs 15,100) and CNY 1,499 (approx Rs 17,400), respectively. The top-end 12GB + 256GB model has a price tag of CNY 1,699 (Rs 19,700). The smartphone is available in three colour options- Star Sand White, Midnight Dark, and Time Blue colors.
