Oppo Find X7 series will feature a Dimensity 9300 flagship chipset and it the device will offer a Hasselblad camera system. The feature will use the BeiDou satellite messaging service which is the same as that of the Huawei Mate 60 users. However, it is expected that the functionality of the device will be limited to China.
Speaking about satellite communication, Snapdragon Satellite will not be happening as Qualcomm has ended partnership with communications company Iridium. The chipset maker and Iridium will be ending their deal as smartphone makers decided not to include it in their devices. According to the press release by Iridium, both the parties had successfully developed and demonstrated the technology.
Qualcomm mentioned that the smartphone companies will continue to use standard solutions. It is important to mention that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 offers ability to connect to satellites. However, the smartphone makers need to add antenna hardware in their devices to access the feature.
Speaking about the Satellite messaging and connectivity , the iPhone 14 devices introduced the feature as a major feature.
