Nuapada: A woman has been allegedly mauled to death by a tiger in Nuapada district of Odisha. The incident has been reported from Lodara village near Sunabeda Sanctuary.
The woman had gone to the cashew garden last night when the incident occurred. Since she did not return home, the family members launched a search operation. They found her body in the cashew garden.
The Deputy Forest Officer (DFO) of Sunabeda Sanctuary has said that a probe will be launched in the matter and proper investigation shall be initiated.
Whether the death is due to a tiger or any other reason shall be clear only after proper probe added the DFO.
