Kandhamal: In a shocking incident a drunken man was electrocuted to death after he climbed an electrical transformer in Landagaon in Baliguda block today.
The deceased has been identified as Budu Rana, a resident of Landagaon. As per reports, Rana was heavily drunk and was not in a position to walk.
“He reached the transformer station and started climbing. He came in contact with the live wire and got stuck. We immediately informed the police which reached the spot and recovered the body,” said a villager.
A pal of gloom descended over the village after the shocking incident.
