Police impose 32 days of traffic restriction in Cuttack City, check details

The Cuttack unit of the Commissionerate of Police has imposed a 32 days of traffic restriction in certain area of Cuttack City with effect from December 10 (tomorrow).

Cuttack: The Cuttack unit of the Commissionerate of Police has imposed a 32 days of traffic restriction in certain area of Cuttack City with effect from December 10 (tomorrow).

As per a public notice issued by the police, the movements of vehicles have been restricted for dismantling and reconstruction of two box drain at Buxi Bazar and Bajarakabati.

Traffic diversion plan for Bara Pathar culvert at Buxi Bazar:

  • No three/ four wheeler vehicles shall be allowed towards Buxi Bazar from Jail road. They shall take alternate route line to reach at their destination or may take Buxi Bazar GPO, Kesharpur, and Seminary Chhak then take right turn to reach at Jail Road and vice-versa. Only two wheelers are allowed to ply via Jail Road –Bara Pathar-Buxi Bazar route.
  • The plying of heavy vehicles/tractors/ school buses are completely prohibited through Bara Pathar culvert during reconstruction period.

Traffic diversion plan for Bajarakbati culvert at Bajrakabati, Cuttack:

  • The plying of heavy vehicles/tractors/school buses are completely prohibited through Dolomundai –B.K Road- Ranihat during construction period.

The traffic diversion for dismantling and reconstruction of two box drain at Buxi Bazar and Bajarakabati is approved for a period of 32 days with effect from December 10 20223 to January 10, 2024.
