Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Saturday demolished some drug peddlers’ shops and dens in Adibasi village of Saliasahi slum area under Nayapalli police station limits in Bhubaneswar.
Acting on a tip-off, the Commissionerate Police conducted a raid in Adibasi village of the Saliasahi slum area and arrested Dilip Baral and Purnima Baral after recovering drugs from their possessions.
Taking a serious note of the incident, the cops demolished the drug peddlers’ shops and dens from where they were selling the drug.
A heavy security arrangement was in place to avoid any untoward incident during the demolition drive.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
