WATCH: 3-year-old Australian toddler Hugo Heath shows batting skills in viral video

A recent viral video that has caught the attention of the internet shows a 3-year-old Australian toddler showcasing his batting prowess on the field. Identified as Hugo Heath, the three year old can be seen hitting massive runs as he plays on the field.

Hugo Heath proves to be a live example of the saying “Age is just a number.”

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is yet another example of the saying. In one of his interviews, Kohli had mentioned that he started playing cricket from the mere age of four. While we do not know how Kohli would have been as a toddler-cricketer, the circumstances are not the same in case of Hugo.

Thanks to the abilities of social media, we can witness Hugo Heath’s cricket journey right from the start. On Hugo’s official Instagram account, he keeps posting about his on-field skills. One of those videos has been doing rounds on the internet.

It is interesting to mention that the 3-year-old Australian cricketer Hugo Heath’s Instagram bio reads, “I am Hugo, I am three years old, and I love sports.” His batting style is amazing, with a lot of flair and swing.

In the video that has gone viral, after scoring fifty, he celebrated like a pro, taking off his little hat and even raising his bat. He does everything that a senior batsman would do. This also includes laying flat on the ground after a hard-fought single. Take a look at the video here:

In yet another of his videos, Hugo shows off his all-rounder skills. Since he has no one to bowl at him, he takes on the bowler’s role and smashes his own deliveries for big sixes. Even though he is just a toddler, it seems that Hugo is ready to step into the professional world of cricket.
