Viral video: Ahmedabad Café’s robot waiter to serve customers amazes internet
If one visit developed countries like Japan, one can find robots doing different normal works like serving customers at a café or restaurant, cleaning and many other things. But, it is quite uncommon in India; still there are numerous robot-themed restaurants in big cities like Chennai, Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Noida. Inspired from this, a street café in Ahmedabad has deployed a robot waiter to serve customers. Presently, the video of this robot waiter is going viral over the internet.
The video of the robot waiter has been shared on social media platform Instagram by a food blogger, identified as Kartik Maheswari on his official page @real_shutterup. In the video, a pop-up truck called Robotic Café is seen using a robot to serve customers ice golas. As per the blog, the robot’s name is Aisha and it costed Rs 1,35,000.
The video has been posted with a caption that read, “Robot serving ice gola, first time in Ahmedabad. Starting from ₹40 & worth it. Hygienic & fully automatic.” After being shared on social media, the video has garnered over 4.1 million views so far, while nearly 1.2 lakh users have liked the viral clip.
Reacting to the video, one user said, “Wah Wah ato Korean dessert lage che (Wow Wow this seems like a Korean dessert).”Another person wrote, “bro 40 ke gole ka order deke 4 lakh ka robot leke bhag jayenge (Bro we will give order of Rs 40 and take away Rs 4 lakh worth robot).”
Meanwhile, a third person said, “That’s not ice gola. Ice gola is made from crushed ice. This is a Korean shaved ice cream.” Adding to this, another user wrote, “Dosto aa robot ma koi ai system j nathi bas joi bijo manas e computer thi control kare che ene robot na kahevay ane doll kahevayy (Friends, there’s no AI system connected to this robot, rather a man is operating it, don’t call it robot, rather call a doll).”
