Karanjia: Alleged witchcraft in Karanjia of Mayurbhanj district in Odisha on Tuesday said reliable reports in this regard in wee hours of Tuesday.
According to reliable reports, a woman and and a man were detained by the locals while performing a puja while being completely naked in the graveyard. The villagers were shocked to see this and immediately surrounded the duo and detained them.
The incident was reported from Angarpada village under Jashipur police station limits, said reliable reports in this regard. The woman and a man have been detained on suspicion of performing witchcraft at midnight.
The Jashipur police is investigating into the matter of practicing of witchcraft in Karanjia. They have detained the duo and are questioning them.
