Odisha: Water level is below the danger mark in Hirakud

The water level of the reservoir stands at 621.10 ft and water is being discharged through 20 sluice gates of the Hirakud dam 

Cuttack: The water level is below the danger mark in Hirakud. The water level in Hirakud is decreasing said reports on Monday.

The water level of the reservoir stands at 621.10 ft and water is being discharged through 20 sluice gates of the Hirakud dam.

The inflow and outflow stand at 1,67,230 cusecs and 3,49,496 cusecs respectively, informed the dam authorities.

4 lakh 58 thousand, 415 cusecs of water is flowing through Mundli barrage. 2 lakh 25 thousand 897 cusecs of water is being discharged every second. The rest of the water is flowing through the Mahanadi river.

All the 46 gates at Naraj are partially open. While the danger level at Naraj is 26.41 meters, the current water level is 23.35 meters. The upstream water level is 25.20 meters.
