Balangir: A vigilance raid in Balangir on Principal of Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital has been conducted on Thursday said reliable reports in this regard.
The raid has been conducted on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Professor (Dr) Sudarshan Behera, Principal, Govt. Ayurvedic College and Hospital in Balangir.
It is worth mentioning here that, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by eight DSPs, six Inspectors, and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The raids are being conducted at the following six places in Puri, Sambalpur and Balangir districts:
1. Residence of Dr Sudarshan Behera located at village Jaypur, Sakhigopal, Dist-Puri.
2. House of Dr. Behera at Nahala, PS- Satyabadi, Dist-Puri.
3. House of Dr.Behera located at Kashiharipur, PS- Puri Sadar, Puri.
4. Quarters of spouse of Dr.Behera located inside CRPF campus, Sambalpur.
5. House of his relative located at village Simili, Sorisiapada, PS- Gop, Dist- Puri.
6. Office room of Dr.Behera located at Govt. Ayurvedic Coellge & Hospital, Balangir.
