Strict blocking and checking in Bhubaneswar from 7pm to 2am for New Year 2024
Blocking and checking will be intensified in Bhubaneswar from 7 pm to 2 am today due to the Zero Night celebrations.
Bhubaneswar: Just a few more hours and we will be ushering in the New Year. Another few hours of waiting. Preparations are in full swing to welcome the New Year.
The excitement is building for the Zero Night celebration. Special arrangements have been made in various hotels and pubs. Blocking and checking will be intensified in Bhubaneswar from 7 pm to 2 am today.
Blockade will be implemented at 29 identified places in the city. 18 places will be blocked and checked to catch people driving under the influence of alcohol.
As many as 14 platoon force will be deployed for security. Quick action teams will be deployed in four squares namely Master canteen, Kalpana, Khandigiri and Rasulgarh.
Similarly, three striking forces will be deployed in Vani vihar, Nalco and Master canteen square. Similarly, hotels celebrating Zero night will be closely monitored.
