Kalahandi: The house of a retired bank manager in Hansapada village under Kokasara police limits of Dharmagarh in Kalahandi district was reportedly burgled by some unidentified miscreants late last night. The retired bank manager has been identified as Narendra Nayak.
The miscreants have barged into Narendra’s house by breaking the iron rods of window and looted valuables, including gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees along withRs 30,000 cash from his almirah.
Narendra’s family members immediately informed to the local police this morning. On getting the information, the Kokasara police along with Dharmagarh SDPO arrived at the spot.
The team of officials have initiated an investigation into the theft case with the help of scientific team and a sniffer dog.
